This workshop explores how reading and writing develop together, using the Reading Rope, Writing Rope and principles from Writing for All to shape flexible pathways that meet learners where they are and move them forward. We will look at how shared reading, modelled language and multimodal supports can strengthen writing, offering clear entry points for learners who need additional structure or alternative ways to express their ideas.

The session is rooted in bridging theory to practice, ensuring every learner can build confidence, develop independence and succeed in both reading and writing.

Participants will receive supporting materials to guide further work in school, alongside opportunities for professional discussion and questions.
