Multimodal Literacies Series: UDL in the Reading Classroom

A practical session on designing literacy experiences that offer genuine choice and varied modes of engagement and expression. Drawing on the Reading Rope and Writing Rope, we will explore how multimodality strengthens each strand of literacy development, supporting motivation, comprehension and independence.

The session provides adaptable planning tools that help teachers move from theory to practice, creating literacy environments where all learners can thrive.

Participants will receive supporting materials to guide further work in school, alongside opportunities for professional discussion and questions.
