Reading Instruction with Giglets: Practical Strategies for Effective Literacy Teaching

This live webinar is designed for class teachers and literacy leads working with upper primary pupils who want to strengthen their approach to developing reading comprehension and fluency through the Giglets platform.

The session will last no more than an hour and includes opportunities for Q&A and sharing best practice at the end.

We’ll explore practical strategies for planning purposeful reading sessions, developing fluency and vocabulary, and supporting comprehension through modelled, shared, and guided reading activities using Giglets. 

The session will also highlight how the enhanced features on the platform can support inclusion of multilingual learners. We’ll introduce our updated and enhanced Toolkit, a collection of reading response activities designed to help deepen understanding, encourage discussion, and extend pupils’ thinking.
