Aski Raski: Bringing Proven Nordic Literacy Intervention to UK Secondary Schools

Developed over 20 years ago in Scandinavia and now fully localised for the UK, Aski Raski supports students in building confident, fluent reading skills through personalised, age-appropriate learning pathways.

Unlike many phonics programs aimed at younger children, Aski Raski focuses on supporting older pupils, delivering targeted intervention and catch-up for small groups or one-to-one settings. Grounded in the Science of Reading, it combines phonological awareness, morphology, and orthographic knowledge to deliver structured, data-driven literacy support that boosts language acquisition through decoding and fluency exercises.
